1 At 1.5m long and 135 kilos, the giant panda is a member of the bear family.

• 视频中说的是a metre and a half long, 简略写作1.5m

• kilogram=千克, 可以简写为kilo, 还可以写作kg

• 注意-kilo作为一个前缀表示”千”, 比如kilometre

• 但如果单独使用kilo, 一般是指重量千克

• giant panda=大熊猫 /ˈdʒaɪənt/

• panda=熊猫, 包括大熊猫和小熊猫

• bear family=熊科

• 注意这里family是一个学术名词

• 是界(kingdom)、门（phylum）、纲(class)、目(order)、科(family)、属(genus)、种(species)里边的”科”
