 任哲的雕塑所具有的力量感来源不同地区、时代经典作品的共性，这是雕塑的本质；而绘画或其他门类的艺术，则很难实现。他的作品中既有古典雕塑高贵的单纯和静穆的伟大，也有巴洛克雕塑的神秘的旖丽和崇高的情感。 然而，他的创作毕竟不是层层赋泥的传统中国塑像，也不是雕而不塑的希腊大理石，而是完完全全现代技术的不锈钢铸造。它们之所以能刺激人们，让观众为之动容，既因为它们所传承和展现的古典精神，同时也因为它们折射了现代社会中人们的追求和理想。因此，任哲所塑造的，是武士，但也是不锈钢镜面中映射出来的“我们”。 —— 盛葳 RZ＃ 任哲Ren Zhe 古典精神中的武士 2022年2月8日
ARTIST-REN ZHE ■ Ren Zhe's sculpture has a sense of power from different regions, the common works of The Times, which is the essence of sculpture; Painting, or any other kind of art, is very difficult to achieve. His works have both the noble simplicity and quiet greatness of classical sculpture and the mysterious charm and lofty emotion of Baroque sculpture."However, his creations are not traditional Chinese statues covered in mud or Greek marble, but stainless steel castings made entirely of modern technology. The reason why they can stimulate people and move the audience is not only because they inherit and display the classical spirit, but also because they reflect the pursuit and ideal of people in modern society. Therefore, what Ren Zhe creates is a warrior, but also a reflection of "us" in the stainless steel mirror.
