在昨天的公号文章《从“秀外慧中”说英语学习之语用篇--词汇》推出之后，收到了很多的留言和建议。其中彩琴老师点赞之余，建议如下：建议“放弃”百度百科，求助专业学术英英词典。感激之余，深以为然。今天就想从专业工具书、网络资源等的使用方面，借助于beauty这一常见的单词，再聊一聊英语的词汇学习。
高中阶段的词汇学习除了要更深入地理解和更广泛地运用已学词汇外，重点是在语境中培养词块意识，并通过广泛阅读，进一步扩大词块量，提高运用词汇准确理解和表达意义的能力。词汇学习不是单纯的词语记忆，也不是独立的词语操练，而是结合具体主题、在特定语境下开展的综合性语言实践活动。同时在活动中，根据词性、词语的习惯搭配和主题内容，构建不同的语义网，积累词块，扩大词汇量，并在大量的语言学习活动中，强化语感，迁移词语运用能力，最终做到词语内化。
要引导和培养学生学会利用词语的结构和文本的语境理解词语的意思，借助词典等资源，学习词语的英法，并大胆使用新的词语表达自己的意思。接下来展示借助的词典有：有道、韦氏、剑桥、海词、牛津等。
