中考难点详解

1. He also put up some signs asking for old bikes and called up all his friends and told them about the problem. 他还张贴了启事征集旧自行车,并打电话给他所有的朋友告诉了他们这件事。

(1)这是一个含有并列谓语的简单句。第一个and起连接并列谓语put up和called up的作用;而第二个and表示其前后两个动作的先后发生,and told也可以用to tell代替。

(2)asking for是v-ing形式作状语表示目的。ask for 是一个“动词+介词”的短语动词,意思是“要求得到,要求给予”,宾语无论是名词还是代词,都要放在ask for之后。

(3)call up是一个“动词+副词”的短语动词,在这里的意思是“给(某人)打电话”;还可以表示“使想起(某事)”,宾语若是名词,可放在call up之间或之后;若是代词,则只能放在call up之间。如:

If you have any questions, please call me up.

如果你有任何问题,请给我打电话。

The happy laughter called up memories of his childhood.

这欢笑声勾起了他对童年的回忆。

 

2. The strategies that he came up with worked out fine. 他想出来的这些办法结果还真有效。

(1)这是一个复合句,that引导一个定语从句,修饰先行词strategies, that在从句中作宾语,也可省略。

(2)worked out 是主句的谓语,意为“结果为”; came up with是定语从句的谓语;fine在这里是副词,表示“好,顺利,有效”。
