My Analysis of an Public Service Advertisement on Animal Protection

The advertisement showed some pictures in some spoons. There was a happy wedding in the beginning pictures, but then that showed the process of killing sharks and getting the sharks fin. At the last, there were some words to call on people stopping eating shark fin soup.

The advertisement was created by ACRES, an organization for animal protection. In the ACRES's official website, I found that the organization had helped many wildlife rare animals in many ways since it set up. This advertisement is just one of its creations, for call on people stopping eating shark fin soup.

There were some characteristics of advertisement in this. On the one thing, all the pictures are in the spoons. It was a metaphor for the tragic ending of the sharks. On the other things, it made a sharp contrast between the happy couple and the miserable sharks. All of this was for making people feeling shock, calling on people stopping hurting sharks.
