'Big Apple'居然不是“大苹果”？真正的意思你绝对想不到！

说起'apple'，今年的苹果真尼玛贵，都吃不起了，不对，偏题了。说起'apple'，每一位小伙伴都会想到苹果，或是iPhone，但是除了这些，apple可还有其他的意思噢。

 

比如说'the Big Apple'，细心的童鞋想必以及发现了，这里都是有大写的，和'big apple'(大苹果)可是不一样的，作为一个专有名词，其实'the big Apple'表示的其实是“纽约”，是不是很吃惊？

 相传，当年纽约经济大衰退时，许多银行家失业潦倒，都被迫以卖苹果来维持生计。苹果对纽约经济扮演相当重要角色，因此the Big Apple成为了纽约市的昵称。
