前言 凌哥会陆续向大家介绍一些凌哥亲自使用过的阅读教学的活动。这些活动通常只是阅读教学中的一个环节，可能是使用于Pre-reading, While-reading或者Post-reading的。 希望能给各位英语老师一些启发，大家在运用的时候，可以根据实际情况改变操作方式。 今天凌哥给大家带来的阅读活动环节是一个阅读后的书面作业：续写故事。其中还包含了审辨性思维的训练。 原文是一个故事（和上一篇是同一个教学内容，读到过的微友可以略过）： It was a very nice evening. There were many stars shining in the sky. Emma was watching from her bedroom window when suddenly she saw something falling down. Then she saw something moving in the garden. But there were many trees, and she could not see the "thing" clearly. So she quickly got a flashlight and looked at the garden again. But the "thing" was not there. Just then Emma heard someone knocking at the door. Who was it? Was it her best friend? She quickly opened the door. She saw a green girl standing at the door. It was horrible. “Who are you? Why are you here?” Emma shouted. “I'm sorry. My name is Bella. I came from the sky. I've lost my way and I can't find my way back home and I'm hungry and sleepy.” “But I…” 从学生上交的作业来看，大部分学生对外星人是很友好的。（友善，是中华美德啊。而且从上下文来看，似乎这外星人并无害人之意。） 给吃的。 很慷慨，愿意和外星人同睡一床。 好吃的，给外星人吃。床太小，请外星人睡，自己睡沙发。这么懂得爱护客人的小主人！ 给吃的，没有问题。不过，外星人只能睡沙发了。 呆我家，没问题。不过，别让我父母知道。（这位小朋友，你可要谨慎哦！遇到不明情况，一定要通报父母！） 还有的学生，就不让外星人进门了： 上面两位同学，没有让外星人进门，而是帮助外星人找到飞船。
这一位同学直接了当地不让外星人进门，理由——“你和我们人类不一样”。这个理由，合情合理。这位同学，你以后啊，可以到出入境检验检疫局工作哦！从文中看，助人为乐的思想依然是有的，不错！ 还有的同学，思路独辟蹊径：
似是而非，似非而是。亦真亦幻！尽管文本很短，却是一个很意外的“梦”。这位小朋友的玄幻小说，写得真好！ 最后，是一篇佳作（凌哥修改后的文字稿在图片下方）：
"Well, follow me, please!" Bella followed Emma. Emma took a step and Bella took a step. They were in the kitchen. Emma opened the fridge and took some bread. （点评：Emma took a step and Bella took a step. 显然这个外星人还不适应地球的环境啊！） "I only have bread. Try to eat this." Bella gobbled the bread and said, "Yummy! This food is so delicious. Can I pack some and take it home?" "No problem!" Emma said. （点评：Try to eat this.说明Emma觉得外星人吃的食物和地球人可能不一样。非常能为别人着想！gobble这个词，体现了外星人的饥饿，和教材文本中的hungry相照应。Can I pack some and take it hom?进一步说明食物真的很美味。） "My parents are not at home tonight. You can sleep with me." "Yeah!" （点评：因为父母不在家，所以你可以跟我说。和上面有一位学生一样，觉得不能让家长知道家里来了外星人。） After 30 minutes, the two girls went to sleep. They had a lot of pillow talk. It was a great night. （点评：pillow talk！多么形象的一个词啊！关键是，小作者能想到，能查到，能用对！a great night，也是很多学生不会想到使用的。） The next morning, Emma got up. "Bella, where are you?" "What are you saying, Emma? Who is Bella?" Mum said. "She is my friend in the dream." Haha. It was all a dream! （点评：和上一篇一样，原来也是一个梦！不过，比上一篇的结尾少了一点奇幻和穿越。） 从这些学生的续写作文中，可以看到小读者们对于“该不该让外星人进来”，有不同的答案。通过交流，学生也会有各自的想法的。 有学生写出这样高水平的作文，凌哥感觉当老师真是幸福啊！ |
