英文中有些常用口语的句子，其字面意思与实际意思往往并不一样，甚至有很大分别。如果不清楚用法，往往会导致误解。比如像以下这句：

You’re telling me.

字面意思是“你在告诉我”，但它实际要表达的意思却是赞同对方所说的话，或是对方所说的话你早已知道。可理解为：

就是。/没错。/我早知道了。

A: It sure is a hot one.

这天儿真热。

B: You’re telling me.

就是！

A: This food is really terrible.

这食物可真难吃。

B: Wow! You're telling me!

哇！还用你说！

A: Sandra's in such a bad mood today.

桑德拉今天心情很不好。

B: You're telling me!

就是啊。

B: You’re telling me!

B: You are telling me!
